Ms. Varsha Mukherjee

Varsha graduated from the Uttar Pradesh University and completed her masters in tourism from the state of Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. She loves to travel and passionately works with her guests in planning their holidays. She brings with her six years of experience in tour planning and is currently involved in developing of new markets for the company. She is a methodical tour planner and is extremely helpful to her guests. She loves to write a lot and makes an effort in explaining everything to everybody. Compass would not have been what it is today without her.

Ms. Shweta Seth

Born in India, Shweta has formed strong cultural, emotional and working relationships with the region. An imaginative and passionate traveler from an early age - Her extensive travels around the region in the past 5 years have given her extensive knowledge of the region as well as the logistics that come into play for the design and operation of any tour. She had traveled throughout India, Nepal, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.

Shweta started her career with the Business Process Outsourcing industry after graduation and rapidly rose to the position of a "team leader" due to her determination and "guest first" attitude. She left a promising career when working with "CONVERGYS" and joined COMPASS to pursue her passion in travel and hotels. She loves to travel (a common trait in Compass team members) and her in-depth knowledge and intimate understanding of the environs & unique character of the sub-continent combined with her serious understanding of the travelers requirements are a major asset to the company. She ensures that every aspect of your holiday is carefully planned and arranged and would not hesitate to go that 'extra mile' to create that perfect holiday experience for you. She is supported by a highly efficient and professional operations team and administration team in the company. She is known to be a strict and disciplined person in the office and does not get distracted easily while working.

Durjay Sengupta

Durjay did his graduation in commerce with "accountancy" as major but as he was alwayseasily distracted by glamour, continued studying hotel management for three years simultaneously. At the end of it all he chose to be the hotelier and worked for almost a decade in different departments of Indian & international hotel chains. He started COMPASS as a small travel and conference organizing company way back in 2000 since he knew there was demand for a friend handling travel for deserving travelers to India and powerful corporate. The company slowly became a specialized inbound travel company since India started looking better as a destination. Durjay wanted to do everything right for the traveler to India since during his hotel "front office" days he came across innumerable occasions where he felt the gusts were not getting the right deal or not seeing the country in the manner they should. He is still learning and given a scope will give his best for his guests.

Ms. ANUPAMA

She has done her Science Graduation with majors in Zoology, Biology and Chemistry from University of Lucknow. Not satisfied with a degree she went ahead and completed her MBA in TOURISM from the same university. Yes, why a MBA in tourism after pure science!!! Reason enough for her to be in COMPASS. She is the brightest person in the office - always the first to come in and she makes everybody laugh when the going gets tough. However, she is the best planner when it comes to travel for the team members since she is in charge of new destinations and the budget for all our yearly travel. In her own words - "I love to explore a destination rather than visiting it" - she is clinical in tour planning and good with finance. We are sure the "science background" helps her always. Before joining "COMPASS INDIA" she was working with Taj Group of Hotels and the best part is in "operations" which is why she understands our guests so well. She joined Compass India with a belief that she will get a platform to fulfill whatever dreams she had related to her passion and profession.

Ms. ANCHAL SUMAN

Anchal has always been in love with "travel" visiting different places with her parents from a very young age. She completed her graduation just because everyone wants to have a degree in India but immediately after graduation she did her MBA in TOURISM. How much she loves travel is apparent from the fact that she TOPPED her batch and was picked up by MAKE MY TRIP from the campus. She quickly got bored of handling domestic airline travel and customer service since she was capable of much more. She learnt what she could there and was not really looking for a change when COMPASS found her. Our dreams matched so it was not very difficult getting her on board. According to Anchal, different places, people and their culture always fascinated her - that makes her the second person in Compass after Durjay a culture digger. Anchal says - "Being a part of Compass gives me a sense of pride and satisfaction at the same time as this is what I always wished to do".

Ms. SUKRITI KAPOOR

She belongs to the Holy City Varanasi. (She insisted we write this) Sukriti left a very promising career in hotel industry to join COMPASS. She is a hotel management diploma holder from the best institute in India and had everything going for her at the TAJ HOTELS. As a senior manager handling Front Office and training she was billed as the next "future manager" of TAJ. She spent three great years with them but wanted to see more of INDIA and the world. It was a day of great pleasure when she expressed her interest in joining COMPASS as she being with the best in the hotel industry wanted to be with the best in the travel industry. (In her words again) The "operations" department is always on the "tenterhooks" since Sukriti has always been known as one of the strictest managers in the hotel industry and would know inside-out of all reservation departments and reports. Her experience in training has helped us a lot and her dedication to work would mean hassle-free travel for COMPASS guests.
